Our Story

Nelius27 was established in April of 2023. Andrew started a hobby with videography for weddings and other special events. After several years, Andrew decided to start his own media company. Now Nelius27 has grown into an LLC with 7 team members and growing. Our company name “Nelius27” is named after Andrew’s brother Melvin Cornelius Johnson “Nelius”. Nelius passed away at the age of 27 due to cardiac arrest in 2001. This company is named in memory of him.

Meet The Team

Andrew Johnson -Owner and Founder, Head Photographer/ 360 Photo Booth Manager

Andrew is the owner and founder of Nelius27 Media Productions, LLC. A native of Buckingham, after years of doing videography as a hobby, Andrew started his own media company in April of 2023. Along with his family/staff he has done photography/videography for several events including weddings, baby showers, birthdays and anniversaries.

Patrice Johnson - Photo editor, Event decorator

Patrice is a native of Buckingham and the wife of Andrew Johnson for over 26 years. Along with her husband, she enjoys editing photos and decorating for events. Patrice has an eye for event décor, adding photo props for photoshoots, and creating unforgettable scenes for events.

Shanna Johnson- Head event Coordinator, Event Decorator/360 Photo Booth Operator

Shanna is a native of Buckingham and the sister of Andrew Johnson. Shanna has been newly added to the company as head event coordinator and event decorator. Shanna has added valuable knowledge and expertise in organizational skills to give clients a one-of-a-kind experience.

Alexis Johnson - Media content / Graphic designer

Alexis Johnson is a native of Buckingham and the daughter of Andrew and Patrice Johnson. Alexis helps to bring Nelius27 content to social media platforms ( facebook, IG, twitter, and tiktok). Alexis also works as one of the graphic designers, creating unique flyers and stationery for upcoming events. In addition, Alexis supports the team with photography and videography. Alexis holds a Bachelor of Sociology from Radford University.

Andrew Johnson Jr. (AJ) - Head Videographer

Andrew Johnson Jr is a native of Buckingham and is the son of Andrew and Patrice Johnson. AJ is the head videographer of Nelius27. A.J captures those memorable moments at the best angles during your event that you will be able to view again and again for years to come.

Tamara Gough- Media Content / Graphic Designer

Tamara is a native of Buckingham and a recent graduate of Buckingham County High School. Tamara supports the media and graphic design team with designs to engage our young clients. Tamara also creates intros for our media platforms.

Azariah Jones- Media Content/ 360 photo booth Operator

Azariah is an upcoming youth of Buckingham and daughter of Shanna Johnson. As a teen, Azariah brings new energy and vibrant ideas to add to our media team. Azariah also helps to operate our 360 photobooth.

Yuriah Jones (BEAN) - Jr Photographer

Yuriah is a youth of Buckingham and the son of Shanna Johnson. Yuriah has shown interest in photography and is willing to follow the team to observe and acquire skills he will be able to implement in the years to come.
